NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
INTRODUCTORY LOCAL LAW 7 OF 2016
VILLAGE OF WALDEN
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Walden will hold a Public Hearing on September 20, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as can be heard at the Village Hall, One Municipal Square, Walden, NY 12586 to consider the adoption of Introductory Local Law No. 7 of 2016 entitled A local law to amend Section 305 of the Code of the Village of Walden entitled Abandonment of Use. The purpose of the local law is to clarify the circumstances under which the protections allowed for a pre-existing nonconforming use are abandoned. A copy of the proposed local law is available for public inspection at the Village Clerk’s Office at One Municipal Square, Walden, NY during regular business hours. click here to view local law.
At the above date, time and place, all interested persons will be heard. Written comments will be received no later than September 20, 2016.
