We received the below message from the Town of Montgomery this afternoon about tomorrow’s closure of the Rail Trail:
The Walden-Wallkill Rail Trail will be closed tomorrow Tuesday July 22nd, for Temporary Emergency Repair between the Village of Walden and Lake Osiris Road. Repairs should be completed in the afternoon of July 22nd.

All questions about the maintenance of the Rail Trail should be directed to the Town of Montgomery, as they are responsible for the maintenance with the exception of the switchback area located in the Village of Walden and all parts located outside the Town of Montgomery limits.
