The Village of Walden will hold its 6th Annual All-American Soap Box Derby on May 22, 2009. As we have in the past, both new and experienced racers will have a chance to practice racing and stay informed of the event through this schedule.

The Walden Soap Box Derby will run two divisions this year, Stock & Super Stock. The Stock car division is for ages 8 to 17 years old. And Super Stock, a slightly larger car, for 10 to 17 year olds. Both cars cost about $750 to put on the road and enter the races. Go to www.aasbd.com for details about purchasing a new car kit.
