A Message from Village Mayor Brian Maher and the Board of Trustees

Welcome to our Historic Village of Walden, the Performing Arts epicenter of Orange County. Whether you expect to be here for a short time or for the rest of your life, we hope you find Walden to be a friendly, caring and supportive community.

In my first term as Mayor I have gained an even greater appreciation for our community and its spirit. The community we have does not happen by accident. Positive accomplishments are realized by the constant efforts of your Village Board, community organizations, residents, and Village Employees. Together we will continue to make Walden a better place to live, work, and play. In Walden we believe in honoring the past, celebrating the present, and creating the future.

Our website has been completely redesigned to better serve our residents. We look forward to providing our residents with a wealth of information and services available round the clock on line. Being born and raised in the Village of Walden has allowed me to develop a sense of family, loyalty, and pride for my community. I feel blessed every day to call Walden home. It is my most sincere wish that as you navigate through our website you begin to understand why.
