2013 Summer Camp Registration Dates

Registration for the 2013 Summer Camp will be held Monday, June 10th thru Friday, June 14th from 12-5pm at James Olley Park.  Registration is open to Village of Walden and Town of Montgomery Residents ages 6-15.  Camp will run from July 8th thru August 16th at James Olley Park.  For more details see the attached flyer or call or email the Recreation & Parks Department at 845-778-2655 or waldenrec@yahoo.com for more information.

New Dates for Village Board Meeting

Starting in May 2013, the Village Board Meetings will be held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month. The meetings will still be at 6:30pm in the Bradley Assembly Room, 3rd Floor Village Hall.

Village Wide Yard Sale & Bulk Pick up

The Village will be having its yard sale Saturday April 13 from 9am-4pm. Unwanted items are to be placed curbside Sunday night April 14 for Bulk pick up. Please be advised that once the truck goes through your street it will not be coming back so time accordingly. NYSEG and RG&E Preparing for Possible Effects of Winter Storm Nemo Companies Encourage Customers to Monitor the Forecast and Stay Safe Rochester, NY – NYSEG and RG&E emergency planners are preparing for possible power interruptions as a result of Winter Storm Nemo, a powerful weather system taking shape in the Mid-Atlantic states. If the storm develops as forecasters predict, heavy, wet snow and wind in some locales will be the culprits behind any service interruptions. “Every hour of every day, we are prepared to respond to power interruptions, but in a case like this all of our employees across the state are on heightened alert,” said Mark S.
