What is Walden’s Harvest Fest?

Every year, since 1986, the Village of Walden and the Walden Community Council host the Annual Harvest Fest also known as Walden Day.

Harvest Fest kicks off each year on Friday night with a FREE Family Dance at the Teen Center in Wooster Grove from 7-9pm.

The festival itself is a full day of action-packed events, live music, contests, art exhibits, Little Miss Walden competition, raffles, vendors, food and beverage for the whole family.

For vendor information contact volunteer Debbie Robb at (845) 706-1570.

The decision to move Harvest Fest this year is an attempt to make the event bigger and better, more traffic friendly, and more convenient for residents as well as vendors; all encompassed in a more accommodating venue; Bradley Park.  There is space at Bradley Park for 2 stages to feature many events and entertainment throughout the day and more delineated areas such as an area for Angry Orchard to provide wine and beer to those attendees 21 and older, local artists to be featured, a specific children’s area to include activities, jumpy houses, and a petting zoo.

There are new opportunities for businesses to sponsor the event who will in turn, depending on the level of sponsorship, be featured in various promotional capacities including our 8 week long Music in the Grove FREE summer concert series every Wednesday in July and August at Wooster Memorial Grove Band Stand.

For sponsorship details please contact Recreation Coordinator, Michael Bliss at (845) 778-2177 ext. 1523
