Good evening. This is John Revella, Village Manager of the Village of Walden. Today is Monday March 13, 2017. It is approximately 1215pm. I am calling to inform residents that due to the impending storm, the garbage and recycling service in the Village will be moved one day ahead. Refuse will be picked up Wednesday morning and Recycling on Thursday morning. Please be mindful to keep receptacles out of the road to allow snow plows to properly clear the roadway.
Further, be mindful that once two inches of snow fall, there will be no parking allowed on Village streets. Regardless, all residents should avoid unnecessary travel as emergency services will already have difficulty responding to calls for service.
