The Village of Walden’s Summer Youth Employment Program Graduation was held last night to celebrate the 14 youth who worked with the 6 Village businesses this summer. Each youth gave an overview of their experiences this summer at their various employers as well as the workshops they attended. The program was funded through the Orange County Youth Bureau Grant as well as the following businesses who donated towards the program: Lanc & Tully Engineering and Surveying, P.C., Interstate Waste Services, and Dickover, Donnelly, and Donovan LLP.
A huge thank you to each of the employers, presenters, and donors who supported these youth this summer. They will one day look back and reflect on their first job and the huge impact it had on their lives.
